Some of you know I have a new penchant for tool-building. Well, the latest creation of the QDAP lab is a blog scraping tool. The tool is designed to allow you to set up accounts to automatically capture blog posts on one or several blogs and to archive the data in a plain text format “ready-to-be-coded” inside QDAP’s Coding Analysis Toolkit.
For anyone who ever wanted to study blogs, this is a big step forward. The emphasis here is on a user-friendly interface and a seamless system for capturing and coding blog data. Now, this is a brand new tool and probably a bit buggy. However, it works well enough that we invite you to set up an account and start capturing blog data.
